Tim Brearley
TV filmmaker & journalist, now helping organisations engage audiences through compelling, cost-effective video story-telling. Tim has brought his range of skills and interests to the broadcast and cultural world since the early days of TV-am and subsequently in ITV’s politics programming.
He has run the King James Bible Trust, was on the leadership team of Book Trust, and in the centenary years of 2014 to 2018 was resident film-maker for the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
His filming skills, production experience, interviewing ability and empathy are all key elements in the Middleport scheme in Stoke-on-Trent, an appropriate location for an Arnold Bennett enthusiast.
Laurie Wiseman
Laurie Wiseman has 30 years’ experience in education, digital health, television production and regeneration, with a track record of turning novel and ground-breaking ideas into reality.
Starting as a TV news reporter, he went on to direct award-winning documentaries for Channel 4. He then co-founded a world-leading healthcare technology and education business, Primal Pictures. The company won a Queen’s Award for Innovation for creating its unique 3D anatomy teaching resource.
Laurie entered the non-profit sector in 2013, developing local and national regeneration initiatives to encourage start-up enterprises and create community-led affordable workspaces. He brings this range of skills to the Middleport scheme.
